Iron Hill Brewery has gone ahead and launched a full-bodied stout that doesn't merely have a robust flavor and offer a memorable drinking experience, but also aims to contribute to the raising of funds to support the Red Cross Humanitarian Relief efforts in Ukraine.
Dubbed 'Resist,' this full-bodied stout boasts dark cocoa and espresso notes along with the unmistakably creamy taste of vanilla. Black in appearance, this beer is dubbed an 'anti-imperial' stout, and comes in at 9.8% ABV (alcohol by volume).
All proceeds of sales of the 'Resist' full-bodied stout will be directed to the Red Cross Humanitarian Relief. Additionally, $10 will be donated per each bottle, retailing for $24.95, following the release of the beer.
The launch of the 'Resist' stout is part of a growing push by breweries around the world to wield their brewing talents to help raise money to support Ukrainian refugees, first responders and resisters.
