Subway is Selling Fresh Sandwich Ingredients Like Meat & Bread

With people stocking up on everything from pasta and flour to oatmeal, eggs and other pantry staples, there are limited choices in grocery stores—and Subway is aiming to take some of the pressure off of grocery stores by selling fresh sandwich ingredients. Over 200 Subway restaurants across multiple states are now selling ingredients like bread, meat, cheese and vegetables, as well as popular sandwich sides like chips and soup. In the same way that people can also round out their order by purchasing a cookie, these sweet treats are also available through the new Subway Grocery service, which was expressly created to help people navigate a tough time.

Subway Grocery is currently available in California, Connecticut, Oregon, Tennessee and Washington.
