'Fracter' is a unique thriller-style mobile game that was created by game development studio 4L and Sanatan Suryavanshi, an art director for TV and film. As Suryavanshi came up with an idea for a game to explore dark themes in an interactive format yet lacked experience in the world of video game design, he teamed up with the studio and leaned into their expertise.
The mobile game for Android and iOS adopts an entirely black and white scheme that includes rich visuals and sounds to inform the experience. Fracter sets the scene with a character that splits into a light and a dark version and a "perilous quest to restore light to a darkened world."
Throughout the game, players will find themselves challenged by light-based puzzles, engaged by the soundtrack, reflecting upon themselves and able to choose their preferred mode of play with alternative control options.
