Fox has launched its new live-streaming feature on its digital platforms, Fox.com and the Fox Now app. Fox live-streaming its shows is the first of its kind for a network television channel.
All of Fox's prime-time programming will be available for live-streaming as of July 11th. This will enable viewers to easily watch their favorite shows on devices other than their TVs without having to wait for them to be uploaded after they've been aired on TV. Users will have to have cable (paid) subscriptions to be able to access the new Fox live-streaming though. Fox providing live-streaming of all its prime-time shows is part of its goal of providing convenience and ease of access to viewers.
