Colin Smith — March 21, 2023 — Pop Culture
Sling TV has added a Picture-In-Picture (P.I.P) feature to its service. The new feature allows users to watch live content in a small screen overlay on top of whatever it is they are doing. To activate the feature, users simply select any live show, tap the touch surface on their remote and choose “Start PiP.” Now, the live video will be in P.I.P. Mode. You can tap the “TV” button for options to move it around or go back to full screen. The feature is available on Apple TV and desktop browsers.
Sling TV is a live TV streaming service that’s operated by Dish Network, but it is an entirely separate entity. Sling TV is appealing to many customers, as it does not require a satellite TV subscription or a satellite dish. The service is available on a number of different platforms, including iOS, Android, Apple TV and Roku.
