One snack at a time, CRAVE is veganizing popular snacks and offering better-for-you versions to consumers, and its latest release introduces Flamin’ Hot Wots’inits. This snack was originally developed for the vegan and free-from snack innovator's appearance on Aldi's Next Big Thing. This cheeky, cheese-free snack challenges popular cheese-flavored corn puffs known as Wotsits in the UK and another "another Flamin’ Hot puff based snack," according to founder Rob Brice.
The plant-based cheesy puffs are gluten-free, milk-free, vegan and lactose-free, and the playful product label goes on to list some of the other ingredients that consumers will most definitely not find in the product: paper clips, socks or a boat.
As people become more health-conscious and seek out options that fit their dietary needs and preferences, they're searching for better-for-you options that do away with artificial ingredients, allergens and other potentially harmful additives.
