Financial Post Jeremy Gutsche

Jeremy Gutsche of Trend Hunter was recently featured in a piece for the Financial Post Magazine on the return MBA students get on their education. The article, titled 'The Big Payback,' largely discussed the valuable connections MBA students make both pre- and post-grad.

In the Financial Post Magazine piece, Gutsche says that classmate Greg Ponesse was one of Trend Hunter's first writers: "When I was trying to keep new content popping up on the site, Greg wrote a couple of hundred articles and was one of the top contributors. He was there to say, 'Not only am I interested in your goal and what you are doing, but I'll help you out in my spare time.' There is this tendency to look out for each other on a professional level. You have all these trusted businesspeople from different backgrounds, and just by having dinner with one of them every couple of weeks I got a different perspective."

In the excerpt below, Jeremy Gutsche also discusses the value of group projects in business school. You can read the full Financial Post Magazine piece at the link on the left.
