Samantha Wasser, co-founder of the vegan-friendly restaurant By Chloe and TV chef Eden Grinshpan are coming together to create an all-new fast-casual Mediterranean eatery by the name of 'Dez.'
Dez is set to open as of 2018 in New York City and will serve a variety of plated dishes, including vegetable mezze, vegetable bowls, pitas and shared plates, all of which take inspiration from Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisine. The food served at Dez will appease a growing number of consumers who are interesting in trying unique fusions of Eastern Mediterranean ingredients.
Dez is the third fast-casual restaurant that Wasser has launched with a partnering chef. As with By Chloe and the Italian-centric The Sosta, the decor at Dez is set to be fresh, youthful and appeal to a young demographic of social media users.
