Food and beverage company Agthia Group introduces its new eAuction platform, eZad, where international buyers can purchase dates in bulk from vendors in the United Arab Emirates.
This niche platform will make the date market much more profitable and transparent for all parties. The platform is designed to help farmers grow better dates while equally aiding date buyers to grow their businesses. eZad will source date farmers located in the UAE and begin listing their offerings at the beginning of the harvest season in August. Farmers will then be able to list their dates for auction directly through eZad. The auction listing will be available on the website for 48 hours. Buyers will then search and filter their listings based on their preferences - quantity, date type, price etc.
eZad ensures the dates they list meet market standards and plans to expand to other date markets in the future.
