Jameson collaborated with two American craft breweries to create US-exclusive whiskey products to add to its beer barrel-finished Jameson’s Caskmates range. One limited-edition expression, Jameson Caskmates Bale Breaker Limited Edition, is said to be rich in hoppy flavors, floral and citrus notes, spices, vanilla and oak. The other of the Jameson Caskmates Hyperlocal Limited Editions, the Jameson Caskmates Revolution Brewing Limited Edition is smooth and full-bodied, also with fruit and citrus notes and a toasty finish.
For the creation of these special whiskey expressions, Washington's Bale Breaker Brewing and Revolution Brewing from Chicago traveled to Ireland to brew their signature beers to season Jameson casks to add unique flavor to the tripled-distilled, blended Irish whiskey.
