Japanese consumers can enjoy a taste of Europe this summer with the debut of McDonald's Japan's new European Burgers lineup.
The European Burgers lineup consists of a trio of sandwiches inspired by different European countries. First up is the German Potato Thick Beef burger, which consists of a beef patty paired with German potato filling and mustard sauce. Next up is the Peperone Juicy Hot Chicken sandwich, which consists of a red pepper-breaded chicken patty topped with garlic mayo. And finally, there's the Bouillabaisse-Style Shrimp sandwich, which features a breaded shrimp patty with a rich bouillabaisse sauce and aioli.
As if the new burger lineup was not exciting enough, McDonald's Japan will also be wrapping these sandwiches in wrappers featuring scenes from Kiki’s Delivery Service – a classic Japanese animated fantasy film.
