McDonald's Unveiled the Shin Ultraman Menu in Japan
Colin Smith — April 15, 2022 — Marketing
McDonald's Japan is celebrating the release of the upcoming 'Shin Ultraman' superhero film with a new menu. The film centers around the newest form of Ultraman, one of Japan's oldest superheroes who is famous for his Kaiju-fighting abilities. A Kaiju is a giant monster that comes in a variety of shapes and sizes.
The Shin Ultraman menu includes the 'Chicken Tatsuta' sandwich, several specialty drinks, and a second specialty chicken sandwich from Shin Tatsuta Miyazaki. The Chicken Tatsuta is made with ginger soy sauce, a spicy sauce, and cabbage, which makes the sandwich quite different from traditional McDonald's chicken sandwiches like the McChicken.
The Shin Ultraman menu will be available as of April 20th, 2022, at participating McDonald's locations across Japan. Prices for the offered items begin at approximately $2 USD.
