Women weren't required in US clinical research until June 10th, 1993, which initially led the female-founded vaginal microbiome startup to declare June 10th Equal Research Day. "In the age of 'AI in healthcare,' women are being left behind. We simply don't have enough data on the female body," says Priyanka Jain, Co-Founder and CEO of Evvy.
