Eckwerk is a project by Graft and Kleihues+Kleihues architectural firms in Berlin, which seeks to bring together five separate towers into one cohesive building. To do this, the team has come up with the 'Experience Path,' which runs through all towers, allowing people to mingle throughout.
The Experience Path is a transparent structure so that when walking throughout the building, people can observe their surroundings and take in the scenery outside, as well as inside. The building will be used for various purposes including work and retail space, so have an area for people to stretch their legs is also useful. Most of the spaces being built now are very open, which means people can adapt them to their own needs and preferences if they want. Photo Credits: designboom, graftlab
