Canada's Biggest Sleepover

Dove Sponsors PJ Party for Self-Esteem

On June 7, 2008 thousands of girls between the ages of 8 and 14 across Canada will be getting together for the largest one night sleepover in Canadian history.

The good people over at Dove want to help boost the self-esteem of young girls across the country by having them log into their website at Dove Sleepover and register to take part in this massive event. Girls are free to find a sleepover or host their own sleepover. The site offers activity suggestions, a sleepover guide, facts, trivia, printable invitations and just cool stuff to do while the girls hang out in their own positive way. YTV, the Women's Network and CMT are gearing their programming that evening especially for the sleepover event with self-esteem boosting shows and discussions.

Dove is also giving away cool pajama pants to the girls who participate in the sleepover with two purchases of Dove products bought before the sleepover and the order form is available for download from their site. On the one hand it's a great way to sell Dove products, but on the other hand it's an even better way to connect with the 8 to 14 year old daughters in your life in a positive way that they will actually think is a cool idea. Who knows? They may actually think you're cool for hosting their very own sleepover.
