BICOM Communications is a Canadian PR agency that had a need for a creative office interior for its 24 employees. Montreal-based designer Jean de Lessard was tasked with coming up with a clever solution that would be able to break up the open office space, but not close it off entirely. The finished result involved installing several small house-shaped structures in the all-white office, each with a distinct personality of its own. While one space is green and grassy, another meeting space is warm and woodsy.
The 4,500 square foot office needed to be flexible enough to suit the current needs of the PR agency, as well as its needs in the future, which could include expansion. With this design, each of the houses truly shows how the company can break off into individual space, yet come back together and work harmoniously in their little village.
