Spirits company Casa Lumbre is targeting a new generation of ultra-premium spirit drinkers with Contraluz Cristalino Mezcal. The company is setting itself apart as the first to apply the Cristalino process to matured mezcal and in doing so, it has created a category-disrupting spirit.
The first Cristalino Mezcal from Mexico is made from "cultivated Espadín agave and is matured for approximately six months in charred American oak barrels sourced from renowned U.S. whiskey producers." With notes of vanilla, cedar, honey and dried fruit, Contraluz Cristalino Mezcal delivers a smooth finish with a hint of smoke.
The packaging for the product is as standout as the agave-based distillate within, and it represents its luxury positioning with a textured glass bottle that simultaneously shows off the premium quality of the crystal-clear liquid.
