Dubbed the 'Forest Pavilion,' the structure expands and captures the attention with the texture and visual appeal of the wooden slat exterior. The project was headed by Public City Architecture who was commissioned to design a space that offers basic amenities in the park—from the always necessary restrooms to covered gathering spaces where one may find shelter if caught in a storm. A significant focus for the local studio was to create a space that would resist adverse weather conditions, such as floods.
