PPAS and TF are architectural teams based of Shanghai that have put together the design for the Modern Agricultural Park located in Jinshan. The design of the space is similar to that of a large scale porch made of concrete that features tubular passages, corridors and zigzagging shapes to create a functional visiting space for tourists to explore.
The segmented design of the Modern Agricultural Park plays with form, shape and style to utilize different themes that collectively come together to provide a variety of activities and spaces for visitors to walk through. The inspiration for the park comes from traditional Chinese homes that would feature outdoor verandas in the space. This is seen in the pointed segments of the park, as well as the use of green space throughout.
