Matthew Biancaniello, who is known as the "cocktail chef," teamed up with 3D Systems to create a standout drink and a decorative piece to go along with it. To enhance the experience of enjoying a tequila-based cocktail infused with candy cap mushrooms, bergamot, chamomile, kiwi foam and fresh lemon juice, a 3D-printed garnish was created to top off the drink. 3D Systems worked with the cocktail chef to create a shapely decorative piece that displays chamomile blooms and the sprigs of currents.
The future of 3D printing, food and drinks seems to involve the reinvention of familiar comforts with custom ingredients, adornments or utensils.
