Tarot-Inspired Cocktail Menus

The Bloomsbury Club Bar's Cocktail Concept Taps Into Emotions

The Bloomsbury Club Bar is exploring a new cocktail concept that explores a world of illusions, magicians and mind-readers. The Bloomsbury Club Bar’s Cocktail Diviner is based on a special set of tarot cards from 1910 created by occultist Pamela "Pixie" Colman Smith. The bar's own set of 14 cards are designed to be matched to different states of being and when a guest arrives at the bar, they will allow the Diviner to create a cocktail for their specific emotions and mental state.

Some of the intriguing cocktails on offer include Mad Monkey with chilli tincture, wasabi and passion fruit dust to "curb feelings of recklessness" or Flaming Venom, made with wild berries, young artichoke leaves, to pair with the feeling of being green with envy.
