Health and fitness product retailer GNC has signed a deal with Chlorophyll Water to begin selling the brand's eponymously named energy beverage on GNC.com and at over 240 physical stores throughout California, New York, and Pennsylvania.
For those who have yet to hear of the brand, Chlorophyll Water offers a unique health-boosting beverage that contains mountain spring water that has been infused with Chlorophyll -- a natural compound found in green plants that is believed to deliver an array of health benefits.
"Chlorophyll is a phytochemical that has been studied mostly for its antioxidant abilities. Research on cells indicates chlorophyllin may not only neutralize free radicals but may also buffer cell damage in the process," stated GNC in a recent statement, in which the company detailed its support of the innovative new beverage.
