The Chinese smog issue has been plaguing the country for months and the government has tried nearly everything to combat it. They've used drones, screens with fake sunlight and all manner of other things. This new tactic isn't a preventative measure though, it's instead giving citizens temporary relief.
Citizens of Zhengzou, China were given bags of fresh air to combat the debilitating smog that has taken control of the country. The bags were also a part of a publicity stunt that is promoting tourism to the Laojun Mountain, which is 120 miles from the polluted city.
The bags may not stop the pollution but it will temporarily allow Chinese citizens to breath easy for a little bit.
