Cheemo makes a variety of classic pierogies that play around with ingredients that are traditionally added to the Eastern European dish, such as potato, bacon, cheese, spinach and mushrooms. However, one of the newest products from Cheemo introduces 'Unconventional Perogies' with a fusion of Canadian flavors.
The new pierogies borrow flavors from South Asian culture, blending a traditional base of potatoes and white cheddar cheese with a variety of vegetables and spices that are commonly added into into vibrant Asian curries. Coated in sauce, the pierogies take on a look that resembles potstickers.
So far, the South Asian Style Curry flavor is the first in Cheemo's Unconventional Perogies collection, though it is easy to imagine that this line could easily be expanded in the future with a range of globally inspired flavors.
