Buyk, a brand new grocery delivery service, is set to launch in New York City on September 14th. Cutting through the competition, the new service features no minimum spend, no delivery fees, and promises users astonishingly fast drop-off times of 15 minutes or faster.
Buyk will first be available in Manhattan, before expanding its services across all of New York City, and later, throughout major metropolitan cities in the United States. At the helm of this exciting startup is seasoned food industry entrepreneurs Rodion Shishkov and Slava Bocharov -- the previous founders of Samokat, one of Europe's most popular "ultrafast" grocery delivery services.
Buyk will leverage the same proprietary technology that made Samokat so successful. "With this tech, we can assemble the ideal assortment for each area down to the finest detail, we can optimize picking strategies to ensure your order leaves the dark store almost as soon as you’ve put your smartphone down," explained Bocharov in a recent press release.
