The Framework Building Concepts Feature a Wooden Structural Skeleton

The Framework building concept towers designed by Lever Architecture firm are set to be the tallest wood frame skyscrapers in the U.S. set to be located in Portland, Oregon. The towers are set to have a timber structural skeleton that measures an impressive 40-metres in height.

In most architectural projects today, the structure of buildings is made from a variety of metal materials to offer the sturdiest design possible. Lever Architecture opted for a wooden framework that supports a series of glass panels that make up the exterior of the design. The glass is mixed in with contrasting wooden screens and a variety of green space made up of hanging plant structures. The wood will be reinforced with a concrete base to ensure the towers are sturdy.
