In celebration of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month and in support of the AAPI community, Guinness Open Gate Brewery crafted a Bubble Tea Inspired Stout.
By nature, stouts are dark, smooth and slightly sweet, and this inventive brew lends itself well to sharing the essence of milk tea. This canned brew shares a taste of brown sugar, tapioca, vanilla and black tea, which build upon a homegrown stout recipe. This nitrogenated product is super creamy and silky, and is best shaken in the can before serving in order to activate the nitrogen.
The idea for this unique stout came from the creative brewing space's own team and its Pan Asian Network, plus Baltimore's Asian Pasifika Arts Collective.
