Bars across Europe are now participating in a campaign called 'A Gin of Ten Journeys,' which involves making Bombay Sapphire cocktails and putting a spotlight on the 10 botanicals that go into the making of Bombay Sapphire gin. Participating venues include Panda & Sons, Science and Industry, as well as three London-based bars like Scout, Three Sheets and Blue Bar at The Berkeley.
Some of the unique botanical cocktails that have been created include the 'Cassiblanca,' which draws inspiration from cassia bark and comes served in a way that makes the drink look like it has been tapped straight from the tree. This multi-sensory cocktail is garnished with an "electric daisy," which is said to have a numbing effect on the mouth.
At Panda & Sons where Cassiblanca is served, drinkers are invited into an experiential jungle setting, which mimics the Vietnamese jungle environment where Bombay Sapphire sources its cassia bark.
