According to its creator and the co-founder of Boardroom Spirits, it's made from "literally a ton of carrots, ground down, fermented, and distilled to capture the flavor and essence of that vegetable."
Unlike vodka, which is ideally meant to be scentless and tasteless, Boardroom Spirits' C is intentionally designed to summon the earthy sweetness of carrots. As such, quality control is essential with the beverage. Of the approximately 2,000 pounds of carrots that make up a batch of C, each individual vegetable is inspected by hand to make sure no rotten or bruised roots make it.
