Political supporters have hit new lows when it comes to anti-candidate political wear; they’ve gone from distasteful, to beyond offensive.
Making mainstream media news and dominating quite a few message board conversations over the past couple of days are pictures of Senator Barack Obama supporters wearing "Sarah Palin is a C*nt" tee-shirts at a republican function. Republican supporters have even made a video of people wearing these shirts at various John McCain/Palin rallies and are expressing outrage over them.
McCain camp supporters are no better. They too have beyond offensive anti-Obama t-shirts; including one with Osama Bin Laden with a "Vote Obama" sign, another with terrorists with the tag line "We’re voting for Barack Hussein Obama", and even lower "Obama is my slave."
Children go to political events and are out amongst the public for cryin’ out loud, what kind of adults are these people? Spreading hateful and vulgar messages is not a cool trend by any standards. That people actually pay for such attire, let alone parade around with it on for the world to see, is truly mind boggling.
