Lamborghini has announced its intentions to auction its last-ever Aventador coupe model alongside a 1:1 NFT of the car. The car will be auctioned at a special event on April 19th hosted by RM Sotheby's, an Ontario-based classic automotive auction house. The NFT itself is a 1:1 creation of the vehicle in digital form.
Lamborghini partnered up with Krista Kim, a renowned digital artist and founder of the 'Techism' movement, to design the NFT. Due to this, many of Kim's iconic design patterns can be found throughout the vehicle's digital rendering. On top of the vehicle and the NFT, Lamborghini partnered up with the American DJ Steve Aoki to create a custom track for the NFT.
The NFT will also come with a variety of tangible rewards, such as a tour of the Lamborghini Museum, previous of future Lamborghini vehicles, and an exclusive meet and greet with Aoki and Kim.
