Perhaps the most endearing aspect of this project is Korosteleva's ability to steer away from the "cute." It would be easy to rely on the kids' cuteness and leave it at that, but instead, Korosteleva photographs her subjects as though they were mini-adults. There is a humor, wit and wisdom in each photograph that goes far beyond the subjects' years.
