At ProWein 2024, Wine of Moldova introduced two AI-Crafted Wines, showcasing the potential for leveraging artificial intelligence and human expertise. The AI-Crafted Wines offer a fresh take on Moldova’s indigenous grape varieties and well-known wine regions. Rubrum Aeon was created with a selection blending process guided by AI to uniquely highlight the characteristics of three vineyards across Moldova’s wine regions. Elysium, a white wine, blends 70% Feteasca Alba, 10% Feteasca Regala, and 20% Viorica.
AI enhances the winemaking process by analyzing large amounts of data to optimize everything from growth conditions and harvest times to blending ratios. What's more, AI can also predict, anticipate and mitigate potential issues, ultimately supporting more sustainable practices and products in line with customer desires.
