Check out this visually super-packed music video for 3rd Line Butterfly entitled ‘Sexy.’ This video is a stunning mix of simplistic minimal artworks, grey backgrounds and a whole bunch of awkward hands holding unrelated objects.
I am a big fan of what 3rd Line Butterfly has done for this video. Their use of strange objects held in front of varying patterned backdrops and the use of mysterious hands and arms throughout is a perfect way to sell their already simplistic song. The video basically follows the four-member asian band as they play instruments with the help of extra limbs. Grey-painted hands also are seen holding up objects like a cactus covered in wax, a never-ending kleenex box and a naked barbie riding a dolphin through a sea of ballons.
The video was directed by Dee Shin.
