Artistic group the Zuk Club has created a sundial skate park in Switzerland. Not the average design for skateboarding, the artwork allows people to understand the time of day simply by looking at where shadows fall on the paint.
The edge section of the skate park has different colors, with each one connecting to a certain timeframe. Once the sports-goers understand the system, there is no need to where a watch when performing tricks at this location in Switzerland. Not only is this design functional, but it also adds a sense of vibrancy to the area, which is great for encouraging young people to get outside for exercise.
The Zuk Club certainly put together their creative minds to come up with this design.
