London's iconic Hotel Café Royal is where David Bowie famously retired the Ziggy alter-ego in 1973, and in celebration of the artist's life, the bar is now creating a permanent monument to the rock star known as Ziggy's bar. According to Fabio Spinetti, the bar and beverages manager at the hotel, " David Bowie played a really important part in Café Royal’s history...It only seems fitting to provide a homage to one of our most esteemed patrons.”
Ziggy's bar will be decorated with rare images of the singer, provided by Mick Rock, who was Bowie's official photographer in 1973. The bar will also feature an extensive drinks list with cocktails inspired by Bowie's life and the 1972 album 'The Rise And Fall Of Ziggy Stardust And The Spiders From Mars.'
