Google Japan's YouTube Space Tokyo is a newly opened production studio for YouTubers to film and edit original videos. The collaborative space has been styled in part with film studio Toei, featuring an Asian-style set that can be modified to reflect four different time periods.
To make the productions the best they can be, the studio hosts all sorts of tutorials on everything from sword-fighting to special effects. Considering all of the equipment required in front of and behind the camera, amateur filmmakers will definitely want to take advantage of this unique studio, as YouTube Space Tokyo will only be opened for a limited time.
To reward its most active content creators, interested YouTubers must have 5,000 subscribers to quality for use of this space. The more subscribers a YouTube channel has, the more time a user is able to reserve. So far, Asahi Sasaki, Chuck Johnson and Rin Rin Doll are already at work on their films.
