These Nike Wu-Tang Branded Sneakers Pay Tribute to the Hip-Hop Legends
Riley von Niessen — June 8, 2016 — Fashion
Nike released a colorway of its 'Foamposite One' that makes use of the Wu-Tang brand colors with its new 'Optic Yellow' version.
With the Wu-Tang clan being one of hip-hop's greatest influences, the iconic colors used by the group have seen the likes of many collaborations before. With the Nike Foamposite One's, the bright yellow that takes over most of the sneakers is complemented by a black upper, laces and sole. With these being the only colors on the shoes, apart from an accent of gray on the midsole, the Wu-Tang brand is clear to fans. Although the group has been largely inactive, the continued collaborations that they have been a part of shows that its fan base isn't going anywhere.
