Chef Tristan Welch has recently created and unveiled the world’s meatiest sandwich and boy is it impressive. This gargantuan hoagie is not your average sandwich sub.
Tristan Welch, the mastermind and chef who crafted this excessively enormous entree, used over 41 varieties of meat including ham, salami, sausages, bacon, turkey and chorizo. Apart from meat the sub also has lettuce, onions, olives, hot peppers and pickles. Yum.
The world’s meatiest sandwich measures 15 inches high, 24 inches wide and weighs in at a whooping 24 pounds. The sandwich took about four hours in total to create. One of the pictures taken compares Welch’s sandwich to that of a normal one, and the difference is staggering. If you’re thinking you’d be up to the challenge of demolishing this mountain of a sandwich, be sure to set aside 10 hours of your day, as that is how long it will take to eat this meaty monster.
