The World's Largest Cannoli was unveiled at the New England Dessert Showcase to the awe and delight of mouth-watering spectators. Slim and long, just like the traditional cannoli this extreme dessert was inspired by, it stretches 10 feet across an equally long table. Quite the opposite of the mini bite-sized cannoli the Gimme Some Oven blog created, the event will be long over before this baby is finished.
The shell of the World's Largest Cannoli was impressively created by Golden Cannoli Shells, one of the world's best known maker of cannoli shells. Holes were drilled through the shell to better pipe in the filling. Due to its size, classic chocolate chips couldn't be used, so they were creatively replaced with full-size Hersey's kisses. Guests were treated to regular versions.
