Here's a museum that is the size of Lisbon. Embracing a concept of art that is neither static nor institutionalized, The Ephemeral Museum encapsulates the work of several street artists, both Portuguese and international in descent.
The concept is simple. To visit the museum, you have to log on to its website and print the maps with the walking circuits. You can also download the podcasts for an audioguide. Every 'exhibit' is identified with a caption--just like a traditional museum. Put on some comfy sneakers and get on the track!
Inaugurated on July 2008, The Ephemeral Museum was created by Fundación Pampero (from the Venezuelan rum brand Pampero) in association with Movimento Acorda Lisboa. Advertising agency Leo Burnett - Lisboa is also a partner.
