adidas Joins Toronto Raptors to Design the World Champs AM4 Shoes
adidas works in collaboration with the Toronto Raptors to celebrate the memorable 2019 NBA Championship with a pair of 'World Champs' AM4 sneakers. The running footwear model is limited edition and references the historic win for the Canadian team. To launch the sneakers, adidas taps Toronto Raptors' Kyle Lowry -- the star athlete unboxes the shoe on Twitter.
The sneaker itself takes adidas' AM4 as the base foundation before adorning the model with referencing motifs of the reigning champions. Every pair features scores of each playoff win with special emblems that honor the team, Toronto, Canada, and the championship. To celebrate June 13th, the day of the win, there will only be 613 pairs of the World Champs AM4s produced. The sneaker will only be exclusively available in Canada through the Raptors Mobile App and will be available to reserve on November 17th at 9am EST.
