Nike's Air Force 1 Shoe Gets a World Champ Colorway
Nike continues to celebrate the 40th anniversary of its iconic Air Force 1 sneaker model and the latest tonal iteration to drop is the World Champ colorway. It is designed to honor the Los Angeles Lakers and has a clean white base foundation made from leather.
It is then accented with a textural contrast of crackled leather around the mid-paneling section and the toe area. Additionally, the shoe boasts patent leather by the Swoosh and has matching sock lining as well as black and gold tongue tags. Notably, the shoes have a wrestling belt-themed dubreas with purple at the insoles as a nod to the Lakers team hue -- it all sits on top of a black rubber outsole unit.
