Toronto is home to a wide array of culture festivals and one of the popular events dedicated to the city's growing Latin American community is Woodbine Latinfest. With music, dancing and delicious food, the event serves as a great opportunity for Torontonians to embrace and experience Latin American cultures firsthand.
Last year's edition of Woodbine Latinfest took place between October 1st and 2nd, 2016, at Toronto's Woodbine Shopping Center. The event featured a wide range of Latin American performers, including Colombia's Grupo Niche, the Dominican Republic's El Rey Tulile and Nina Sky of Puerto Rico. The festival also featured local acts from the Toronto community such as dance groups Bachata Swing and SAMBA Heat. To round of the festival, plenty of authentic Latin American dishes were available, so guests could get their fill of empanadas and arepas while taking in the sights and sounds.
