Andrey Yakovlev and Lili Aleeva have done it again, this time with their ‘Women to Women’ fashion photography collection. Uncharacteristically, they have chosen to go a little darker and elegantly grittier (yes, gritty can be elegant) with a black and white finish.
A period collection, ‘Women to Women’ reminds me of a German underground bar (such as that found in ‘Inglorious B_sterds’), and the women are darker offshoots of the beautiful Diane Kruger. Every time I encounter their work, I’m floored. This series is no exception.
