Starting early next year, United States airlines will begin to offer WiFi in airplane cabins. "Carriers are expected to start making announcements around the end of the summer." The company that will be installing the equipment "on airliners that will act as a WiFi hotspot in the cabin is called AirCell. The speed of the WiFi service will be "similar to WiFi on the ground" and the cost of this service will be less than $10 dollars.
