Gamers looking to do some good in the world are going to fall bum over noggin' for WeTopia. WeTopia is a new online game designed to turn the hours spent building a virtual town or city into charitable donations.

WeTopia was created by Sojo Studios and is free to play. The game centers around building a village and filling it with things its villagers need to live. Certain in-game items like trees and vitamins cost real-world money to purchase. When purchased, Sojo Studios donates the real-life version of that item to a charity in need. "Joy Points" for items can also be earned by watching ads or through making a charitable donation.

WeTopia is currently partnered with 12 non-profit organizations performing charitable deeds around the globe. In these tight financial times its tough to get people to donate money to worthy causes. Games like WeTopia are a great way to reward people for donating.
