Wearable face projector is a new concept by HKU Design was born from a need to protect the identity of the public. The headpiece uses a small beamer to project a different appearance onto the wearer's face to protect them from privacy violations. The design is simple—it features a headband that sits at the crown of your head with a long beam at the front holding the projecting.
The Wearable face project can be used to protect individuals from the prying eyes of digital retailers as well as governing bodies. While this cutting-edge design is able to fool an algorithm, the wearer's identity remains visible from the human eye—ensuring friends and family are still able to recognize the person.
