The Liv is an extraordinarily high-tech wearable bracelet, developed by Liv, that is designed to make it easier than ever for you to correct your problem behaviors. This particular bracelet is capable of recognizing problem behaviors -- particularly compulsive ones -- and vibrating to alert wearers to cease said behavior.
The wearable bracelet was developed by husband-and-wife inventors Sameer and Aneela Kumar in order to treat the latter's compulsive eyelash and eyebrow pulling behavior. It is used in conjunction with a companion smartphone app that users can use to pair their device with an iOS or Android device. They then intentionally perform the behavior in order to 'teach' the bracelet the compulsive behavior that it is intended to treat.
The Liv is a great example of modern wearable technology being used to improve people's lives in understated but hugely important ways, seeing as how compulsive behaviors are known to negatively impact people's quality of life.
