The conceptual 'EVE' personal security bracelet has been designed by Mathilde Blondel and Romaric Delahaie as a piece of wearable technology that would work to enhance the safety of the wearer when out by themselves. The bracelet would work by being discreetly worn on the wrist and would monitor for activation in the form of three to five shakes. The wearer could then speak the voice trigger or apply pressure on the bracelet's sensors to activate the 110dB alarm, call the police, send live recordings and their location via GPS.
The conceptual 'EVE' personal security bracelet maintains an autonomous functionality that would not require connectivity to a smartphone to ensure it's always ready for use and not dependent on any additional devices.
